Currently, she is working with the amazing CARTHE research team based at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science, sharing their complex oil spill and ocean currents research with the world.

A Nerd Nite NYC alum and organizer of the Miami Coffeehouse Discussion Series. She has super nerdy interests in evolutionary psychology, positive psychology, linguistic anthropology, and several other social science topics.

Rather than come up with a clever title to describe his talk, Nathan has contented himself with a single word and a pair of quotation marks. Smart money says it’ll include an unnecessary introduction to waves in the broad sense, with the rest devoted to observation and analysis of ocean surface waves. Bring popcorn and foul weather gear.
